Stephanie A. Horton, CMP, is
a professional speaker and certified meeting professional who
specializes in educating hospitality industry representatives in
sales, customer service, world class etiquette, and the
"power of common courtesy" through her company, Pacific
Rim Protocol. She is a certified international etiquette
consultant from The Protocol School of Washington, D.C. and a
University of Washington graduate with 25 years' experience in
television, communications and travel. Stephanie's meetings
experience includes serving as event manager for Pike Place
Market's "Taste of Washington Farms," and the
International Conference of Public Markets; formerly, Stephanie
was Weyerhaeuser Company's Meeting and Events Manager.
Professional organizations include: Hospitality Sales &
Marketing Assoc., Int'l, the National Speakers Association,
National Assoc. of Catering Executives, Washington Restaurant
Assoc., and the Tacoma-Pierce County Visitor and Convention
Bureau. She is a former board member of Washington State Chapter
of Meeting Professionals Int'l., and the Puget Sound Business
Travel Association. Stephanie also teaches event management at
Highline Community College/Hotel & Tourism Program and
Discover University in Seattle. She is is also the instructor for
