Looking
for a creative fundraising idea?
If you are looking for interesting
fundraising ideas for your school or nonprofit organization, why
not consider hosting a seminar or workshop? Pacific Rim Protocol
offers a special program for this purpose, and features two
programs: Dining tutorials and Prom Etiquette. All you have to
provide is the promotion, the facility (and meal for the dining
tutorial), and the audio/visual needs. We provide the seminar on a
per person basis ($5 per person, with a $300 minimum fee). You
charge whatever you like per person, then give $5 to Pacific Rim
Protocol -- no risk or worry to you!
Dining Tutorial
A "dining tutorial" is a fun event! Basically, your
attendees attend an "etiquette dinner" sponsored by your
organization. You will work with us on an appropriate menu, served
in 4-5 courses. Stephanie Horton will make a presentation before
and during part of the meal, teaching dining etiquette as you
dine. Usually, the atmosphere is light and fun, with people asking
questions as we go. Your guests are seated at round tables, just
like a regular banquet. If you like, Stephanie shows slides of
dining tables, place settings, etc., to help illustrate the proper
way to dine.
Prom Etiquette or Formal Etiquette
A seminar on "prom etiquette" is also a fun way to
raise money -- and provide information for your group. For high
school or college women and men, attending a formal dance and
dinner can be a nightmare! And this should be an evening of
carefree fun for everyone. In just 2 short hours (or 90 minutes if
you prefer), you will be prepared for the entire experience, from
invitation to the final good night. We will discuss clothing,
introductions, and dining in a restaurant or at a banquet. Little
things make the difference - like knowing which fork to use, where
to put your purse, the proper way to use your napkin, and whether
you can remove your jacket. And, most important, what 5 things
should every woman take with her to an event like this? Mastering
table etiquette and event manners with a group of friends now so
you can spend your special evening worrying about more important
things -- like what you are going to talk about!
